I'm a 29-year-old developer based out of Austin, Texas.

Born in Seattle, I moved to Austin in 2015 because I heard you could have tacos for breakfast here. My partner and I live in North Austin with our two dogs, Moose and Squid.

Technical Abilities

Development

I'm well versed in HTML/CSS/JQuery and have started working with React and ES6 in my free time. Most days i'm creating sites using Craft CMS but have worked with other management systems (such as Wordpress and Expression Engine) as well. The CMS systems I use also utilize their own templating systems (like twig) which I leverage on the sites I create. I'll also do some work with PHP when some customization or API integration is needed.

Additionally, I've worked with multiple ecommerce platforms including Woocommerce, Shopify, 1shoppingcart, and Stripe.

Workflow

I use SASS as a preprocessor through a gulp workflow and use Sketch and photoshop for design. Most websites are hosted on Cloudways using a LAMP stack and a Digitalocean server. I typically drink 2 cups of coffee in the morning and a cold brew in the afternoon. On special occasions, I'm also known to have a sugar free Redbull if my Trello board looks like a CVS receipt.

Misc

I've had to jump around to multiple software solutions for various clients throughout the years. For CRMs, i've worked on Salesforce, Mailchimp, Pardot, Acton, and Microsoft Dynamics. I've had to build out excel functions, create custom email templates, and work with custom APIs. I'll also work with setting up google analytics and tag manager to track whatever our marketing team needs to do.
